Workshop: Creating Healing Cultures in our Organizations and Justice Work

There is a growing awareness that culture (our deep, unconscious rules and norms), particularly organizational culture steeped in white supremacy, capitalism, patriarchy, imperialism, ableism and more, is pervasive and holds all systems of oppression in place. In this interactive session, participants and facilitators will share possibilities about how we can shift toward cultures of care, healing, emotional awareness, emergence, rest, humane notions of productivity, power with rather than power over, and more. This will be a highly interactive session. We encourage participants to bring a journal for self-reflection. Together we’ll share embodied healing practices and discuss why personal and collective healing is vital for work toward justice in all kinds of entities and groups. Workshop: Unlocking Healing Conversations: Navigating Conflict and Collaboration

In these three interactive 90-minute virtual sessions, we will embark on an exploration of conflict's potential, acquiring invaluable skills that can reshape our collaborative relationships. As we navigate this 'post-pandemic' era, collaboration is the key to moving forward. As more collaborations happen between artists, presenters, and organizations, conflicts naturally arise. Acquiring the skills to navigate conflict will be crucial in creating healing-centered collaborative relationships with each other. Through these sessions, we will learn to identify our stress responses and guide ourselves towards regulation; skill up for difficult conversations; and learn about accountability following the conflict. Your own experiences will fuel our collective learning. Bring your case studies and apply new insights in real-time for deeper understanding that moves you beyond theory. Join us as we rewrite the narrative, shifting from conflict avoidance to generative conflict. Together, let’s explore healing-centered collaboration, where conflict is not an obstacle, but a stepping stone to deeper relationship building. Click the button to learn more about the workshop.
