I believe that everyone has the right to access healing
The journey into the world of sound healing began two years ago for me, as I was navigating deep grief from my father’s transition. At the time, I had no idea how transformative this path would be. The practice has humbled me, empowered me, affirmed me and continues to heal me. I feel honored to be able to share some of what I have been experiencing through sound healing with beloved folks in my community. I have been researching and incorporating the learnings from sound healing into my practice as a musician and facilitator. One of the areas I am delving deeper into is Vedic mantra chanting. According to Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary, mantra chanting "...uses the tones of nature - which vibrate at a specific frequency - to help restore balance within us, and also to forge a connection with this larger energy field." As I continue my research, I am struck by the deep impact this ancient practice has had in healing people and communities.
Why is healing particularly important now?
The pandemic was a traumatic experience for all of us, but on top of that we have been navigating racial injustices, climate crisis, mass shootings, war, genocide and more. As a society, we have not faced the grief of all that we hold and we are expected to keep moving. People are exhausted, burnt out and struggling to stay present. The burn out is about system overwhelm, because the grief is too much for any one person to carry alone. We lack intentional spaces to process the grief and to heal. In order for us to grieve and heal, we need rest, spaciousness and access to resources and tools for healing. We need embodied ways of healing.
My hope is to offer sound healing and mantra practices to my community as one of the tools of healing. I will keep my offers accessible so that everyone can access the power of sound healing, if that is what they desire.
My Approach to Sound Healing
My work is at the intersection of meditation, sound and embodiment practices. Some practices you may encounter in our sessions are sound bath with the crystal singing bowls, breath work, vocalization, humming, toning, mantra chanting, meditation, visualization, journaling, animal oracle card or tarot reading, embodiment practices, light movement and yoga.

Benefits of Sound Healing
Mantras can have profound impact on the human body and mind. Dr. Chaudhary says, "when we are ill, the body's natural order of frequencies is altered, but when we are exposed to certain external vibrations in sound, our internal rhythms can be restored." Mantra chanting supports to align the seven main chakras in our bodies by restoring our frequencies back to where it is meant to be.
Sound healing and sound meditation can regulate your activated nervous system, ground your body, allow you to connect to your inner wisdom and provide you with a moment of relaxation and rest. The vibrations used in the sessions can help create a meditative state, allowing for a more profound connection to the present moment that strengthens the more you practice it. A regular sound meditation practice can lead to increased self-awareness, emotional regulation, stress reduction and overall well-being.

1:1 Sound Healing Session (In-Person or Virtual)
These are personalized 1:1 sessions that include a healing sound experience with breath work, light movement, sound bath with the crystal singing bowls and mantra chanting. I guide you in finding your intention and center that throughout the session. I leave you with practices that you can continue beyond our time together.
These sessions are held in-person at a mutually decided location or on Zoom. Duration for the sessions are 30-minutes, 45-minutes or 1 hour.
Monthly Sound Meditation Session (Virtual)
Join my free monthly sound meditation session on Zoom! The session include breath work, light movement and sound meditation. During the sound meditation, I share a chant to balance the seven chakras as well as the healing sounds of the crystal singing bowls. No previous experience necessary. These sessions are free for accessibility, but if you would like to support my work, you can make a donation here.

Group Session: Collective Rest through Sound Healing (In-Person or Virtual)
In this 90-minute session, you are invited to reflect on your rest practice, release narratives that don’t serve you, set intentions and simply rest. You’ll be immersed in mantra chanting and the healing sounds of crystal singing bowls as you move through guided meditation, movement, breath work and journal reflection. Through deepening your practice of sound meditation, you’ll find a way to return to your natural state of rest and remember your powerful ability to be fully present.
These group sessions are held in-person at a mutually decided location or on Zoom. For in-person sessions, additional fee for a PA speaker system may apply for larger groups (above 25 participants) when the facility does not have an in-house sound system.
